Sushi decided to jump in the tub to sniff around.

Playland
Gotta love the playland. You keep your fingers crossed they don't catch germs and douse them with germ-x. You watch crack mom and her 5 kids throw balls all over and bounce them off kids heads. You watch crack kids run up to your table and drink your child's drink while you are away monitoring your child. Yeah, why did I come here again? Oh that's right, after a few months of winter you'll do anything to keep your kids entertained and distracted for a while!

First Ice Cream Cone and 2nd New Car (traded the first one!)

Wyatt has had ice cream before of course, but I think this is the first time we've given him a cone on his own. Thought Bri looked cute too.
If you noticed the picture of the car changed that is because I switched it for a different Camry. They were really nice to work with the crazy indecisive lady!

Wyatt's gloves

This is kind of crooked because Jason took it with his phone from the front seat. I guess Wyatt put these on while they were driving and thought he was pretty cool.

Embrace It
I hope that wherever I am in life, whatever the circumstances, that I will be in that moment and embrace it. Things will change soon enough. For better or worse, this moment will never come again.

Here's to 2009
A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.
-Edgar A. Guest
For last year's words belong to last year's language and next year's words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning. - T.S. Eliot
And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year: Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown. And he replied: Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the hand of God. That shall be to you better than light, and safer than a known way. -Minnie L. Haskins

Christmas Morning
Kicked back watching Mom and Sis play Wii.
I love my new car!
Opening my presents...
Gus REALLY loves his yearly Christmas Stocking!
Waiting patiently for the opening to begin... Briana would not allow me to take any photos of her in the morning so that's why she is missing in these...

Book Tag
My cousin had this post on her facebook...thought it might be a fun tag.
Rules:
1. Grab the book closest to you.
2. Go to page 56.
3. Find the 5th sentence.
4. Don't go looking for your favorite book, or the coolest one you have- just grab the closest one.
5. Post the title of the book along with the sentence.
I tag...anyone who might find this amusing!
"Had a big chaw of Brown Mule stuck in his face and spat all over our nice clean dirt floor."
Shadow Country by Peter Matthiessen.
I bought this book as a gift and now I'm rethinking it!

What is going on with life
Everything feels like a struggle right now in every area of my life. I don't want to bore anyone with the details. Not much good for blogging right now.

Update
Looking out the window today.
Post haircut- I forgot to take my camera into the salon.
Before haircut, climbing on the magazine rack and grinning for the camera.
Well, haven't blogged for a while. Wyatt has been sick for over a week. I thought he was getting better over the weekend and then he got sick again so we've been to the Dr. twice! Just a few random pics. I think I liked hair better before it was cut though!

The Dizz on my B-day
I love Briana's expression of delight. She thinks I look like a puppy dog.
Briana, Mom and Wyatt right before entering the park.
So we went to Disneyland this past weekend. I have very few pics because my camera battery died! (Which may have been a good thing considering how icky I look). I would highly recommend taking at least two days to do the Dizz as one day was not long enough. It's very frustrating to be stuck in a line for what feels like eternity when you only have one day to try to fit everything in. I guess I am just too moody for Disneyland...

Halloween movies
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DqT9edmTGNU- this is a hilarious clip from Young Frankenstein.
Best Halloween movies: Sweeney Todd, Young Frankenstein, Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Rosemary's Baby, and Wait Until Dark. Any other suggestions? Please comment.

Patch of Moon
Believe it or not there are advantages to being up in the wee hours (about 4 a.m.) and having your blinds back ordered for six weeks. I brought Wyatt out to the family room to rock him, and the moon was so bright and full that the light came through the window. He crawled down onto this perfect patch of moonlight with his blanket and just sat there. Since it's kind of hard to photograph a moment like that I thought I'd share it so I could remember how beautiful it was.

In The Drawer Again
This is Wyatt's new favorite thing. He pulls the drawer out, climbs in and sits there very pleased with himself.

Pumpkin Patch
What is cooler than a bunch of pumpkins in the autumn? We made our first trip to a nearby pumpkin patch to get out and enjoy the weather. It also happened to be the day that all the preschoolers come and visit too so Wyatt had a good time watching the little kids run around and pick out pumpkins. We even ran into Aunt Elizabeth (Jason's sister) which was fun!
